This is an extremely in-depth, VERY intriguing conversation between myself and Doug Graham (author of the 80-10-10 Diet) about the benefits of fasting, intermittent fasting, and extreme rest vs. the risks of increasing likelihood of disordered eating in the aftermath of these protocols. NOTE: Both Doug and I strongly recommend any type of fasting longer than 12 hours should never be attempted without medical supervision, especially for people who struggle with binge eating, anorexia, bulimia, and/or any other eating disorder.
